Plus500 are an international financial firm providing online trading services in contracts for difference, across more than 2,000 securities and multiple asset classes.
Plus500 approached the Nimic team wanting to create a web advertisement that would showcase their app’s features, advantages and their close relationship with the Canberra Brumbies franchise (Go Brumbies!).
So, we did what we creatives do and started brainstorming the perfect recipe to tie in all the elements Plus500 needed for a dynamic and sporty-themed advertisement package.
As Plus500 are a major sponsor of the Brumbies Rugby team, we utilised the players and head coach, Dan McKellar, to feature during the advertisement – paralleling training, improvement and competition as a comparison theme to online financial trading.
Utilising upbeat music, astute cuts, dynamic speed ramps in the motion and imagery that coordinated perfectly with the on-screen titles, we delivered an advertisement that is dynamic, fun, exciting and showcases what Plus500’s app is all about.
Plus500 had a great response from the advertisement campaign and it won Gold in the 2019 DotComm Awards for Video Marketing.
